We've been living here 11 years now, and today was the first time we've ever seen turkeys in the yard. A LOT of turkeys!!


No "turkeys" at the bowling alley tonight. lol Trevor treated his brothers and me to some bowling. Thank you, Trevor! :)

We spent our last "official day" of summer vacation in the pool today. Tomorrow it's back to school! (It went way too fast!)

My camera went into overtime today! LOL A busy day, for sure!


First, we call this pic....."Progress". Out with the old. The new door should completed by tomorrow. (I won't tell you just how much swearing Dennis did! YIKES!)

A ring-neck snake on the basement floor. We did not harm him (or her?) and we released it outside. Kind of cute in it's own snaky kind of way. lol

I took this pic so you could see just how tiny the snake was. Awww! Ain't it cute?? ;)

My sister's spider plant. I swear, it's the only one of it's kind. LOL So funny how it's growing. (Funny, too, that Chrissy actually has a plant that grows! She does better with artificial plants.)

And finally, the boys with their new haircuts. They "posed" on the rock in the front of Aunt Chrissy's house. Dad will have a hard time telling them apart until their hair grows back. LOL

I took the first pic tonight. It's why I don't like going anywhere with Trevor in his car. Ugh. His music gives me a headache.

The second pic I took on Saturday night, just as the sun was setting. I thought it turned out pretty cool. It's the American flag that flys above Wal-Mart.

Today was the 71st Annual Rehrig Family Reunion. The boys had a blast playing the kids' games and were very happy to show me their winnings in the Kiddie Cake Walk. (Corey in green, Collin in blue and both have a dirty face. lol)

*This is the first time that Corey has allowed me to take his picture since losing his front teeth. They are taking their time coming in. LOL

I laugh every time I see this sign. At first glance, it looks real. I doubt the bridge is "spicy", but I've never tasted a bridge before. LOL (For those of you familiar with Lehighton, the sign is right by Pizza Hut.)

Our latest Guitar Hero! Collin has gotten so good at it! I just recently gave it a try but I'm not near as good. lol

A very close call of history repeating itself today. :( Thank God, Dennis was close by because I just froze. The flames went up to the range hood. We learned that the smoke detectors are working properly and I will NEVER make french fries in a pot EVER again. (It took me years to even do it up until today).

The sky has been so pretty lately. (Dawn, I think we really ARE sisters! *wink*) Earlier tonight I found something pretty on the ground, too! I love the deer we have been seeing lately and I'm glad that this one posed for me. LOL (Normally, they run away from me.)

1) I planted flower seeds not knowing what would come up, until now, of course!

We spotted 2 roadkill skunks on our road in the past few days. Tonight, we were happy to see that it wasn't one of the skunks that visits our yard.

It's neat to finally see some progress at the Lehighton pool. A cool new slide has been added and the pool will re-open next summer!

I didn't get the camera out of the bag today. I took this pic yesterday. I just had to put a "normal" sized wrench on top of the big wrench to compare. Wow! That's a big wrench!

Not the greatest pics (hard to take a good pic in the dark!). We made S'mores and went for a night swim under the light of the stars and tiki torches. (The boys called this the best summer ever! lol)
