My neighbors surprised me with this gift card tonight! We've been helping them since Sue has been confined to a wheel chair. We didn't want anything for what we've done, but this gift is greatly appreciated. Thank you Sue, Angela, and Betty!

Dennis emptied the neighbor's pool tonight. No wonder the water wouldn't clear up! We found some other problems and we'll help intstall the new liner when she gets it.

We went to the river for rocks to paint. I think I had just as much fun as the boys! lol Now, we want to make more and more to put around our pool. I was most proud of my fishy rock. I even scraped the paint to look like scales and I glued sea shells on for fins. :)

We named this guy (or gal?) 2%. It's an Eastern Milk Snake and it lives under our front steps. So long as he/she doesn't cause trouble he/she can stay. Otherwise, we will relocate it. :)

Corey is my little artist. He LOVES to draw and color. His Dad gave him some wood and a marker and he drew this picture of him and I. (Notice the bird by the tree. That is because he loves to help me fill the bird feeders.) He's such a sweetheart!

It won't be too much longer and we won't have to use a step ladder to get into our pool. It's not quite what we wanted, but we ran low on funds. ;) We'll build a big deck next year.

Happy Father's Day!

I didn't take any pics today, but instead, I am sharing a picture that was in the newspaper. We didn't know it, but the boys were told to draw a picture of their dad and their teacher sent them in to the newspaper. Pictures were randomly selected and Corey's drawing made it in to the paper!

I forgot that today was Friday and I never made it to the farmer's market for a tomato plant. This is my attempt at a small garden. Corey and Collin brought home pumpking plants from school for Father's Day and marigolds for Mother's Day. I figured they'd have a better chance outside than in the tiny containers they brought them home in. So, I'll add a tomato plant (hopefully real soon!) and call it our garden. LOL If it works I may go bigger next year.

Finally! We put the liner in today and it will be a few days until the pool is filled. We're waiting for the permit for the deck, then the inspection, and then we'll be swimming!
