You can't see Brad, but he's in there. It's the 5th & 6th grade chorus. It was very nice!




And....you can't see it, but our pool liner is inside this box! It came today. We hope to put it in this weekend and start filling the pool with water!

It's "TV turn-off week". We played with Play-Doh and played some board games.

Exciting day today! Collin lost a tooth and we made a little more progress on the pool! Yippee!

No school today so we visited Dad at his work.

My intent was to get the laundry done today. Instead, I PAINTED the laundry room! I just have to paint the back door and declutter the shelves and then I'm calling it done. :)

I don't know what kind of bird this is, but Wow! It sang such a beautiful song! It entertained us for quite a while before it flew away. :)

The three youngest boys and I went to the Middle School tonight to watch "Donkey Basketball". It was so funny! LOL We had a lot of fun! (This particular game was the Firemen VS. High School Faculty.)

The boys made these bracelets in school today and can tell me (and have several times) what each color represents. :)

Pool progress!

It was too hard to pick a favorite photo or just one to sum up today. It was a beautiful day today, and full. Full of happiness, sadness, and a little in between.

First pic is my grandfather, my "Pappy Highland". He was just a boy, off to war and this photo/painting hangs in his bedroom. The house is being emptied to be sold and I was very moved to take a walk through the mostly empty house.

Pic #2 is Collin flying his kite. We all were flying them today, but he wanted me to take his pic and have it be the "picture of the day". I hope you like it, Collin! :)

And lastly, the 3rd pic is my dad. I went to celebrate his birthday with him tonight. (his birthday was on the 10th). Happy belated Birthday Dad! (Shhhh! Don't tell him that I'm telling you this, but he is 59 years young now. :) ).

I highlighted in red around what we see growing in our back yard. It's a bit of grass in the shape of a heart! Can you see the grass heart?

Corey has a lump on his neck. Had him to the Dr. today and we were told that it is a cyst and we should just keep watching it. If it grows or changes in any way, we'll have to take him to the Pediatric Surgeon for a closer look.

I went to visit my landlady at the hospital. Unfortunately, she was asleep when I got there so I didn't get to visit. So, I wandered the halls until Trevor's shift was done and I looked for my "pic of the day". LOL
