I was at the school today to see Collin get his "Student of the Month" award.

Congratulations, Collin! :)

I was surprised to see them sitting together.

It's windy, cold, rainy, and gloomy outside.

But it's bright and colorful in my kitchen as I made supper tonight.

Best Friends, Parker & Tristan

Today I was at LaRose's Skating Rink for a benefit for Tristan Wentz.

He is one amazing and determined boy that is battling cancer in his brain.

Please keep Tristan and his family in your prayers, as they still have a long, long road ahead. If anyone would like to help, contact me and I will see that any donations made go to his family. They are making many, many trips to Philadelphia for very expensive chemo and radiation treatments. Talking to his family, I was astounded by the cost of such treatments.

I learned a few things about money today.

The "star" before the serial number means that this bill was printed

to replace misprinted currancy.

Fewer than 1% of notes printed are "star" notes.

Earlier today I went for a walk....

I love the little farm up the road from me.

I can't wait for the leaves to come in on the tree!

Later, Brad and I went for a bike ride along the canal.

We couldn't resist and we crossed the "bridge to nowhere".

I visited Dennis at lunchtime today.

Tonight, we re-named our band to "Evil Shanangens" (spelling doesn't count when it comes to band names) and we put on quite a performance! I could only find one set of red and one set of blue lights, but they went well with our strobe light. The boys (and I) LOVED it! We will be announcing our tour dates soon.... ;)

(And, yes, I do STILL have my Christmas cards hanging up....I'll take them down....soon!) ;)

I was at the school today (again!) for the "Millionaire" program.

It's a spin-off of Regis's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", but it's done with a Dr. Seuss twist. Mr. Kresge (Yertle the Turtle) makes fabulous costumes and puts the whole thing together. I think I enjoy it just as much as the kids! :)
