Today I got the brainy idea to make a mountain for my putz. The power went out, due to the weather (rain) and I was freaked out by the silence, so I went for a ride. When I came back, I found Skittles looking quite comfortable in her "new home". UGH!! (Please hold back your laughter...the "mountain" is still in it's beginning stage. LOL I never said I was any good at what I do!! hahaha)

Making some progress....

Today I got one sheet of plywood re-covered.

I can't wait to start laying the track and getting my

"putz" (pronounced "puts") together.

It's giving me a whole new appreciation for

my grandfather and my dad. It really is a lot of work...

but soooooo worth it when it's done!

It was sooooo windy today that it actually made the neighbor's collapsed pool stand back up. Thankfully, she didn't see it, or she'd have us out there filling it back up with water. *eye roll*
