**Flashback** to the late '70's**

I'm thinking that next week I will start on my "putz" (that's what Pappy called it).

We're hoping to expand this year, like my dad did all those years ago. I'm so excited!!

I had the oportunity to go out and have fun tonight with some family and friends. I may have had a little too much fun.....I took the microphone and am now known as the "Shoop Girl" (a Salt 'N Pepa song). I had an awesome time and hope to do it again!!

Chelsea was at the boys' school today for the Pep Rally!! :)

The "Open Gate Farm Tour" was today. We were afraid the weather wouldn't co-operate, but the sun did eventually come out. We visited a log house, Lyon's Farm, and of course, Byler's Farm (their favorite!).

We bought a "mini bale" and "twin boy" pumpkins for decoration.

(The "girl" pumpkins had cute hair, but the boys insisted on "boy" pumpkins".

I prefer my turkey roasted, stuffed, and on a platter with all the trimmings.

Eeeww! That is one ugly bird!

Today is one week since Brad has started Connections Academy.

It was in the newspaper. Ironically, the man in the pic came to the middle school to talk about bullying....one of the reasons for pulling Brad out of the school, and this pic hangs in the Guidance office. (Brad is in the blue sweatshirt, behind the man.)
