I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn't photograph them. ~Diane Arbus

I seem to be posting 2 pics a day lately. The boys and I want to take a pic of the Chia head everyday so we can see how long it takes to grow. I didn't want the Chia head for today because I wanted something more special for today since it's my Nanny's birthday in Heaven. I have a disk marked "beautiful" and knew this was the pic I wanted to use. I took this pic on Sept. 26, 2006. It's a water drop on a blade of grass. It looks like a tear drop, but it has a shimmer because Nanny would not want us to be sad and her love shines on.
Happy Birthday Nanny! I love you and miss you!

We named "our Corey" after him. It's hard to believe Corey Meinhart would've been 35 today. We think of him often and miss him dearly.

I took Brad to the dentist today to get his teeth fixed (finally!). He was so excited and anxious to have them fixed to show his scout buddies so that he'd no longer be called, "Chip".
"After"
See above photo. Dentist couldn't fix it today since Brad's gums bled. Brad is to floss and brush heavily for the next few days and he'll go back next Thurs. (15th) to get them fixed.

Dennis was replacing the steps outside and Collin wanted to be out there with him. I guess Dennis didn't see that Collin took a nail and scratched a star and some lines into the side of my van. GRRRRR!!! When Collin was asked what he did with the nail, he said that he threw it in the driveway. With my luck, my van tire will probably find it! UGH!!

The Gypsy Moth caterpillars are coming out of their "tents" to feed on leaves. It's kind of strange that the trees they are on don't have many leaves at all. What really concerns me is that these caterpillars are going to keep growing and getting bigger. ICK! Looks like I won't be shoeless this summer. The last time I remember the Gypsy Moths being this bad was when I was a pre-teen! (Very long time ago!!!)
