I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn't photograph them. ~Diane Arbus

This was the first time, ever, that I put a platform under the tree. I don't think I did too bad for a beginner. My grandfather (Pappy Highland) put up a "Putz", as he'd call it, every year and growing up, I remember my dad putting one up as well. Seeing the train was one of my best Christmas memories as a child and I am so glad that my boys will have some great memories of the train as well. I guess, I should stick to "still" pictures, rather than movies. LOL I took this video so I can watch it all throughout the year. It will be hard for me to disassemble when the time comes. (If it were up to me, I'd leave it up all year long! LOL) I'm already thinking about how I will do it next year and what details I will add. It was so much fun!

Here is our tree all decorated. :) It looks taller on the platform and we are happy with our choice......Now, we have to try even harder to keep the cats off of the platform. They loved to lay under the tree last year. Eeek!
