A little hard to see since they blend in with the rocks....

We had bird visitors at our little pond this morning.

Brad and I watched as the birds figured out that going to the waterfall was the best way to enjoy the water...until...one little bird decided to jump in! Needless to say, he wasn't a swimmer. I'd be scooping a dead bird out of the pond if we wouldn't have been watching. I had to put my camera down quickly (and carefully!) and get him out of the water. He thanked me in his own birdy way and once he was dry he left. I'm going to have to put something in the pond so that if any critter would fall in again, they'll have a way to get out.
